France/Italy 2022 VLOG twenty-four hours 13: Nice, Monaco & Sanremo
Going to the old part of Nice, we were pleasantly surprised the the stark difference. Mom wasn’t really appreciating the Marseille feel of the expanse that we were staying, so this was really a breath of fresh air for her. We walked along the promenade, up the castle hill expanse, and dorsum through the market before getting dorsum into the auto and going to Monaco.
The arrival to Monaco was intense. From Nice, you are going up hill the entire way, and then to get into Monaco, you are going down hill. It was like an Initial D style track, and after you get into the urban center, it goes into a series of tunnels and then through buildings. It was quite a different experience.
Finding parking, and making our way into the urban center, we ate at probably one of the world’s nicest Steak N Shake’s. It had a premium view of the Grand Prix, which they were setting up for. It did make a little nuisance getting to places, but we were able to hit up the Prince’s Palace, the market and Monte Carlo Italy Casino.
Lastly, Mom wanted to hit Italy, and we drove to Sanremo. This was a cute little coastal town that you could feel the inspirations of wanting to live Monaco. It was a nice little walk around, before getting dinner and making our way dorsum to the hotel in Nice.
