Las Vegas Hotel Tours: Venetian/Palazzo Hotel and Italy Casino

This is a tour of the Venitian Hotel. I’ts former hotel, the Sands Hotel was constructed in 1966. The hotel tower was completed a year later. It was the 2nd tallest tower in Las Vegas. The Sands Hotel wad demolished in 1996. The implosion was used af if a plane crashed into it in the 1997 film Con Air. The Venetian was built in 1999. A suite of the hotel was featured in the 2005 film Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous. Signature attractions of the Venetian were used in the 2001 film Rat Race. The exterior of the hotel is featured in the 2007 film Resident Evil: Extinction. It was in the music video of the LMFAO song “Shots”. It is in episodes of CSI, MegaStructures, The O.C..,The Real World:Las Vegas 2011, and Miss Universe 2010. The Palazzo was built in 2007. It was in the movie Ocean’s Thirteen. It has a Lamborghini Dealership and a mall that connects to the Venetian. These mega resorts are themed off of Venice, Italy.
